Cigar Info
The Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Doble Robusto has a wrapper from the 1984 harvest year of Cameroonian origin. We are not aware of another premium cigar with such a long-aged wrapper tobacco.
The Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Doble Robusto won the title of “Best Cigar of the Dominican Republic” in 2009 at the Cigar Journal’s Cigar Trophy Awards. A very high award that was rightly given to this fantastic cigar. Our recommendation therefore is just a formality. Simply enjoy and be inspired!

Enjoyment
In addition to the Methuselah described above under the wrapper leaves, the Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Doble Robusto consists of Dominican filler and binder tobaccos that have been aged for ten years.
This very high-quality blend promises an incredibly balanced and medium-strength cigar experience, which is heralded by delicate nut and herbal aromas.
As the cigar progresses, a fine note of coffee and a pleasant cedar wood aroma develop. The last third is dominated by earthy and slightly peppery tones.
This delicious aroma progression is accompanied by a particularly tasty spiciness and a subtle sweetness. The smoke of this premium cigar, which is of a very high standard, flatters the palate immensely with its extraordinary creaminess. A very stable ash cone and the razor-sharp burn of the 14.5 cm long Doble Robusto confirm its very high quality.
