Enjoyment
Many enjoyable cigars have emerged from the collaboration between Ashton and Don Pepin Garcia, and the Benchmade Toro is another such example, scoring points with its flavor and high-quality construction. It's a medium-filler, meaning it's made from larger tobacco trimmings. However, being hand-rolled, there are hardly any differences to be found compared to a long-filler. The draw might be a tiny bit too easy, and the burn is slightly uneven here and there, but it corrects itself. Overall, the Benchmade Toro makes a very good impression. The flavor profile is dominated by aromas of earth and pepper, complemented by wood and sweet-spicy notes. Unlike long-fillers, medium-fillers are less consistent in flavor from one cigar to the next. So, it's possible that the second cigar will taste different than the first. This smoke is definitely worth trying.
